After achieving great success in raising funds for Heartbeat with the De-feet Runners in 2015, ultra-marathon champion Ali Kedami has raised the bar even higher for his new solo challenge. His goal: contest four prestigious races around the world within one year!
Ali successfully completed the Oman UTMB -the ’World’s toughest race’- covering 137 km and over 8,000m of altitude in less than 44 hours, and ranking 22nd in his category. He then participated in ‘Tor des Géants’ in the mountains of Italy. Despite his perseverance, Ali had to surrender to the hard decision of stopping the 330 km race as sickness took over his body.
Ali’s determination remains strong as he pursues his efforts to support children born with heart disease.
